Issue:

  • Quickbooks Error Code (6840): You can not delete this transaction because it is matched to a transaction that was downloaded into a different account

Environment:

  • Syngency

  • Bill Syncing

  • Quickbooks Online

  • This issue occurs when a firm disconnects a QBO account from Syngency, then connects a new account, then attempts to edit a transaction.

Resolution:

Manually edit the Quickbooks transaction to match any changes made in Syngency.
