Oh no - you've just discovered that upon loading images into your Galleries the colour is being washed out!  This is because many forms of software and hardware do not support the wider colour spaces available that cameras can use to shoot images (particularly for print).

A good rule to follow is if the intention is to display images on the web, it's recommended to use the sRGB colour space to ensure the most consistent colour reproduction on the widest range of hardware & software.

To fix the images you want to upload to your Gallery we recommend the following:

  1. Open the images in your chosen photo editor (such as Photoshop).

  2. Convert the images to the sRGB colour space, then edit to fix any wash out you see.

  3. Save.

  4. Upload to your Gallery

If you are interested in learning more about sRGB and how images with different colour spaces display on web browsers, here is a helpful video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lZ8EkgxYwM
